At the beginning of 2024, COMPOACC started its first cooperation with a professional football club — ŠK Slovan Bratislava.

The reason was an injury to new signing Spyros Risvanis, a 196 cm central defender who had previously played for rival club DAC.

Risvanis, a product of Greek side Panathinaikos FC, suffered a fractured cheekbone after one of the challenges. Following a fast and professional agreement during a meeting with Ľudovít Nemec, we brought our prepared set of five protective masks to ŠK Slovan Bratislava.

A prepared solution for a professional club

The set included five sizes — S, M, L, XL and SO — allowing the club to react quickly in case of facial injuries within the team.

In professional football, timing is crucial. When a player suffers an injury, the medical and coaching staff need a solution that is available immediately, reliable in training and comfortable enough for the player to use with confidence.

Back in the training process

As you can see in the photo, Spyros was very satisfied with the mask. In this case, the mask fulfilled its role during the training process and gave the player the protection and confidence he needed.

"For a professional club, preparation is not only about tactics. It is also about having the right medical equipment ready before it is needed."

Ready for future use

An important detail is that after Spyros fully recovered, the mask remained at the club.

Together with the other available sizes, it is now ready for future use in case any player in the team suffers a similar facial injury.

This is exactly why prepared protective equipment matters. It helps clubs react faster, support their players better and stay ready for moments that cannot be predicted — but can be prepared for.
